Bangladesh has published its official roadmap for the Hajj 2027 season, giving prospective pilgrims a firm timeline to register and setting out the key milestones that will govern the pilgrimage under the Hijri year 1448. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, registration will run for two months, and pilgrims must complete the process by September 26, 2026.

The roadmap gives Bangladeshi Muslims one of the clearest planning documents available for the next Hajj cycle. It fixes dates for registration, agreements, visa issuance, and flights, allowing families to prepare their finances and documents well ahead of departure.

Registration Window and Early Deadlines

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the registration period for Hajj pilgrims begins on July 26, 2026, and continues until September 26, 2026. Officials have urged intending pilgrims not to wait until the final days, as demand for Hajj places consistently exceeds the quota Bangladesh receives from Saudi Arabia.

The roadmap also sets a window for uploading pilgrims' information into the Saudi Masar Nusuk system. This runs from August 14, 2026, to January 28, 2027. Nusuk has become the central digital platform for managing pilgrim data, bookings, and permits, and accurate early entry helps avoid processing delays later in the cycle.

Signing of service package agreements, which cover tents at the holy sites, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, catering, and transportation, will take place between July 29, 2026, and January 23, 2027.

Agreement, Visas, and Flights

The bilateral Hajj agreement between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia is scheduled to be signed on November 8, 2026. This agreement confirms the annual quota and the operational terms under which Bangladeshi pilgrims will travel.

Once the agreement is in place, the issuance of Hajj visas will begin on January 28, 2027. Hajj flight operations are scheduled to start on April 8, 2027, several weeks before the pilgrimage itself, in line with the staggered arrival system Saudi Arabia uses to manage the flow of pilgrims.

The Hajj is expected to be observed on May 15, 2027, corresponding to 9 Dhul Hijjah, when pilgrims gather at Arafah. As always, the exact date remains subject to the sighting of the moon, so pilgrims should treat it as provisional until confirmed.

Why the Early Timeline Matters

Publishing the roadmap more than a year in advance reflects a wider shift toward earlier and more structured Hajj planning across pilgrim-sending countries. Saudi Arabia has repeatedly encouraged national Hajj missions to lock in accommodation and services early, and Bangladesh's schedule aligns with that push.

For pilgrims, the practical benefit is time. Registering in July or August 2026 leaves room to arrange finances, renew passports, complete medical checks, and secure the required vaccinations well before the visa stage.

Practical Tips for Bangladeshi Pilgrims

  • Register early in the July 26 to September 26 window rather than waiting for the final week.
  • Ensure your passport is valid well beyond the travel period, and renew it now if it is close to expiry.
  • Keep your contact details and documents ready for the Masar Nusuk upload window that opens August 14, 2026.
  • Budget for the full package cost, including accommodation, transport, and catering, before committing.
  • Confirm the required vaccinations, including the quadrivalent meningitis (ACYW) vaccine, at least ten days before travel.
  • Treat the May 15, 2027 date as provisional until the moon sighting is confirmed.

By moving early and following the published schedule, Bangladeshi pilgrims can approach Hajj 2027 with fewer last-minute pressures and more time to focus on spiritual preparation.
